Synchronous Technology de Solid edge Siemens, es la solución para dejar de perder tiempo al modificar piezas o partes que otros modelarron mal o en otro programa CAD. Los 3 principales CAD (CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics NX) ya lo usan a su manera, no se pierde parametrización y ya no hay relaciones de dependencias en el árbol de modelo.

Funciona similar a la manera de editar sólidos de los software CAD para visualización como 3dsMax.

Pro/ENGINEER lo usa en sus UDFs y su dynamic edit pero éste todavia le falta mucho para medirsele al que Solid Edge ya implementó en su última versión y el de su hijo Cocreate que le llama modelado explicito y es su principal característica de venta.
